JEE NEET postponements due to COVID-19 

Amid several protests on JEE NEET postponement due to COVID-19 outbreak, the education minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ on Wednesday said in a video that a large number of candidates and parents wanted to take the entrance examinations. 

He also said that following the order of the Supreme Court decision on conducting NEET, JEE exams along with the request of students as well as parents, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to conduct the engineering and medical entrance examinations.

  01/09/2020 ALL THE BEST FOR JEE MAIN ASPIRANTS  Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal wished students appearing for the most important JEE Main for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) that begins today.  He said the two crucial exams - the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) and the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to medical courses - are being held to ensure that students don't lost an academic year amid the coronavirus pandemic. "JEE and NEET had to be postponed several times due to the coronavirus pandemic. JEE and NEET exams are being held to ensure that students don't lost a year. I am happy that nearly all students have downloaded their admit cards and there is enthusiasm among students," Mr Pokhriyal said in a video he tweeted last night.
